Don’t Rush to Buy a Permanent Urn

IMG_7837-2.jpg

More than once during the Covid-19 crisis, I’ve encouraged bewildered, grieving families to use this felted wool carrier as a temporary vessel for cremated remains. I’ve generally start out giving it as a gift, but sometimes families like it so much, they buy. It’s made by the British Hainsworth company, is sold to funeral directors by Natural Legacy USA and has a retail price of $135. A lovely wool name plate fastens with toggles at top and can be machine or hand engraved. It’s hard to decide on an urn sometimes when you’re grieving. This buys you time to do nothing.
